2018 COMMEMORATIVE ACL FESTIVAL ARTIST POSTER
This year we took a turn for the abstract for our official poster art, tapping Austin artist Michael W. Hall to create the 2018 design. Michael was inspired by musical soundwaves and the Austin skyline, rendering it as flattened rainbow alive with vibrant, swirling color. The image is immediately evocative of the view from Zilker Park as seen over the main stage, while the overall shape is a visual representation of the surrounding sounds. We have two options available (see details below), and, as with all of our posters, they will not be reprinted once sold out.
- Commemorative Edition — Offset-printed with four-color process ink on heavyweight, uncoated paper. Includes complete band lineup. 24” x 18"
- Signed & Numbered Edition — Silkscreened with 10 spot colors on heavyweight, 100% cotton paper. This version does not include the band lineup. Printed in a numbered edition and signed by the artist. 36”x 24”
- The accompanying image does not include the band lineup on the Commemorative Edition. The image will be updated at a later date.
- All posters will begin shipping in September.
